Please visit Pond Yachts Sales at the upcoming Newport International Boat Show, Newport, Rhode Island or Swiftsure Yachts at the Seattle Boat Show, the weekend of September 12-16 to view the Outbound 46.

August, 2007:

Enjoying your new boat is not really news, but we like this picture of “Whitehawk” on Lake Erie. Outbounds are built semi-custom. This owner requested a larger than standard flag pole socket welded to the stern rail.. now we know why. That’s a nice flag flown from a yacht-style teak pole. The picture also shows how the Outbound blends characteristics of two of the owner’s previous yachts .. a Passport and a Saga. The shot is all the better when you know it was shot by their grandson circling in his dad’s motoryacht.

January, 2007:

John and Susan Bankston take delivery of "Watercolors".
"We successfully completed our sea trial yesterday. All systems performed flawlessly. We had a nice breeze of 10-18 k. "Watercolors" sailed even better than we ever thought she would. Even with full tanks, she was peppy and a joy to sail. She is definitely not your typical cruising boat. Sailing her upwind brought back memories of our J24, except much more comfortable."

PRESS RELEASE

Newport Beach, CA: Outbound Yachts is pleased to announce the appointment of Swiftsure Yachts of Seattle as the Northwest representative for the Outbound 44, 46 and soon to be launched Outbound 52.

Founded just three years ago, Swiftsure Yachts has earned a reputation for selling high quality brokerage sail and power vessels. According to company President, Pete McGonagle, "After a two year search for a line of quality bluewater cruising sailboats to represent we've finally found a boat and company that we're proud to be involved with. I can honestly say there is no better world cruising boat on the market at this price point.”

April, 2006:

Outbound owners from Texas, North Carolina, Hawaii, and California enjoyed an elegant dinner at Scotts Seafood in Oakland during the Strictly Sail Pacific.

Special thanks to Jim Fair for allowing hundreds of visitors to view the newest Outbound, "Chesapeake", at the show. Jim has a unique background of singlehanded racing his Merit 25 for over 20 years including a race from California to Hawaii, demonstrating again the Outbound's appeal to sailors that recognize the boat as an easy to sail, responsive, and extremely comfortable cruising yacht.

March, 2006:

Strictly Sail Pacific. A new Outbound 46 is being shipped now to Oakland, California for display at Strictly Sail Pacific, April 19-23. There is no better opportunity to see a new Outbound and meet Tim Kernan, designer of the Outbound 52. Drawings of the 52 will be available for review.

January, 2006:

We just received this from the owner of #14, Frank Slater:

"Dave & Maryanne (Star Dancer-#2) were in San Diego for a couple of weeks before leaving for Mexico again. We provided logistical support (car) and they invited me to join them for the first leg to Ensenda.

The Outbound is truly a great boat. Winds for the second half of the trip were up to 44 knots, steady in the high 30s. Seas were eight to ten feet, some higher. Star Dancer handled it all like a Sunday ride to a picnic."

Frank's previous boats included a Swan 44 and an Amel 48. Other owners have graduated to Outbounds from J's, Tayanas, Passport, Saga, Tartan, Esprit(Valiant), Caliber, C&C, and a Sceptre, along with Hunters, Catalinas, and Beneteaus.
