In February 2002 the sailing world was saddened by the unexpected passing
of Carl Schumacher, designer of the Outbound 44. The design work for the
Outbound 44 was complete but Carl remained a close friend of Outbound Yachts.
We are honored to have
had the opportunity to work with Carl and will miss him greatly.
